She was predeceased by: her husband Joe C. Evans; her parents, John Graves and Mildred Kirkland Graves; her daughter Shirley Presley; and her great grandchild Jonathan Rushing Evans.

She is survived by: her children, Ronnie Evans (Eva) and Terry S. Evans (Wandra); and her sister Nancy Robinson. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and 24 great grandchildren.
