He is survived by: his wife Pat Griffith of Florence; his children, Shelie Etheridge (Andy) of Canton and Christie Griffith (Stephen Cozart) of Jackson; his grandchildren, Devin Griffith (Kaley), Kalee Irby, Breanna Irby, Lauren Irby, Riley Cozart, Natchez Cozart, Jillian Etheridge and Olivia Etheridge; and his great grandchildren, Kase Griffith, Ember Little and Nash Hayman. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Blair E. Batson or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
