She was predeceased by: her husband James Huey Parker; her parents, Henry Wade Beavers and Audell Styron Beavers; and her siblings, Wayne Beavers, Henry Wade Beavers, Jr., Henrietta Hickman and Clemmie Porter.

She is survived by: her children, Marcus Parker, Betty Tucker (Daniel) and Deborah Parker Hannah; her grandchildren, Danielle Tucker Butler (Robert), Kimberly Tucker Ashmore (John Ryan), Michael Thomas Johnson and Isaiah Lucas Johnson; and her sister Imel Vanderford. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews.
