It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Martha Caulkins (Florence, Mississippi), born in Harrisville, Mississippi, who passed away on February 19, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Hall "Dee" Gordon and Elizabeth "Lizzie" Ward Gordon; her husband James Norman Caulkins, Sr.; and her siblings, A. D., Owen, Clyde, John Allen, Roy, Mary Dee and Hazel "Cricket".
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Yelverton (Marshall) of Florence and James Norman Caulkins of Florence; her grandchildren, Cory Yelverton (Jonathan Riley) of Clinton and Jesse Yelverton (Morgan) of Hammond, LA; and her friends, Isaiah, Melissa and Jason McGee. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Hospice Ministries or First Baptist Church of Florence Senior Adult Ministry.
