He is survived by: his mother Florine Shaw Watkins; his daughters, Kaylan Ely (Lee) of Purvis and Julieanna Watkins of Braxton; his sisters, Dee Styron (Bill) of Louisiana, Julie Davidson (Terry) of Florence, Virginia Turnage of Braxton and Starla Byrd (Tim) of Florence; and his grandson Waylon Ely.
