He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Bryan Davenport and Florence Nelson Davenport; and his siblings, Richard Henry Davenport, Kenneth Ray Davenport, Hettie Florence Davenport and Emily Jewel Bailey.
He is survived by: his grandchild Brooks; his wife Evone Davenport; his son Joseph Thompson Davenport, Jr. (Loren) of Brandon; his grandchildren, Joseph Brooks Davenport (Kaitlyn) of Grove City and Breelyn Nicole Davenport of Brandon; and his siblings, Martha Ion Oswalt of Florence, Elizabeth Ann Owens of Pearl, Patricia Lynn Bozeman of Ocean Springs and Jesse Bryant Davenport, Jr. of Hermanville, Mississippi.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
