He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim King and Annette King; and his sister Elizabeth King. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Willoughby King of Flowood; his sons, John "Bo" Simmons King II and Kyle Austin King of Flowood; and his siblings, Jimmy King (Rebecca) of Madison, Johnette "Tutti" Herrington (Allen) of Madison, Laurie "Lala" Sheffield (Paul) of Jackson and Janie Manderson (Mike) of Chattanooga, TN. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
