He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Clarence Henry White, Mrytle Agnes Burns, Lem Benton Bryd and Bertha Ann Thames; and his parents, John Clarence White Sr. and Sudie Elizabeth Byrd White of Florence, Mississippi..
He is survived by: his wife Hilda Benson White; his daughters, Marlena Elizabeth McKay (Warren), Misty Lenora Whitehead (Dustin) and Johnna Kay White (DeVonte); his grandchildren, John Warren McKay, Boyd Benson McKay, Elis Thornton McKay, Bailey Rose Whitehead and Harrison James Whitehead; his sister Johnnie Sue Butler of Richland; his niece Denise Butler Mills; his sister Dorothy Faye Danielson of Florence; and his niece Sharon Danielson Fargo. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, his family requests for donations to be made to the benevolence fund at the First Baptist Church in Florence, First Baptist Church of Fannin, or the Florence Community Cemetery fund.
