He was predeceased by: his child Sammie May; his parents, Jesse May and Moreen May; his sons, Eugene May, Billy May and James Darwin May; and his brother Sam May.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara of Richland, MS; his daughter Debbie Prevost (Carlos) of Clinton, MS; his stepsons, Grady Gipson of Florence, MS, Steve Gipson (Alissa) of Florence, MS and Anthony Gipson (Jamie) of Florence, MS; his grandchildren, Zak Prevost (Jennifer), Devin, Drew, Shelley, Mallory, Brooklyn, Anna Gipson and Cathy Martin (Guy); and his great grandchildren, Taylor Martin, Morgan Martin and Emmarie Prevost.
