She was predeceased by: her parents, James Douglas and Willie Agnes Kinard; and her husband Cecil Clinton Gray, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Cecil Clinton Gray, Jr. and Elaine Adale Gray; her sister Anna Cockroft; and her nephew Shannon Kinard. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.
