He was predeceased by: his parents, David B. Carman and Mattie Lois Middleton Carman; and his sister Mary Ellen Carman Jacobson. He is survived by: his wife Lois Ann Byrd Carman; his son Larry Carman (Nina); his stepgrandson Alex Clark; his daughter Cathy Costello (Joseph); and his granddaughter Sarah Costello. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be given to Brandon Presbyterian Church.
