He is survived by: his mother Peggy Sebren Sims of Harrisville; his wife Christie Sims; his children, Jill Pearson (Dustin) of Louisville, Ashley Bullock (Richard) of Florence and Keith Sims (April) of Florence; his grandchildren, Trey, Hallie, Kruz Sims, Dillon, Presley, Parker Kate Bullock and Daniel Pearson; his siblings, Curt Sims of Braxton, Annette Smith of Mantee and Val Langston of Harrisville; and his friend Randy Chapman. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
