He was predeceased by: his father Grady Shivers McRaney. He is survived by: his mother Bobbie McRaney; his wife Vickie McRaney; his children, Daniel McRaney (Rhonda) and Mandie Sullivan (Jamie); his grandchildren, Blaine McRaney, Garrett Sullivan (Loni), Connor Sullivan and Kailin McRaney; his sister Jan Shorter (Bubba); and his brothers-in-law, John and Robert Daniels of Oklahoma.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Briarhill Baptist Church (707 Hwy 469 N, Florence, MS 39073). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Briar Hill Cemetery (707 MS-469, Florence, MS 39073).
