He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Louise Wood; his parents, Eugene Wood and Minnie Wood; his sister Emerial Black; and his son-in-law Dale Goodwin.
He is survived by: his children, Terry Wood (Marsha) of Jackson and Regina Goodwin of Florence; and his grandsons, Jacob Goodwin (Andrea) and Caleb Goodwin.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gerald's name to the American Cancer Society.
