He was predeceased by: his father Lloyd Pierce; his sister Pamela Kay Swann; and his grandparents, Jim, Thelma Black, Richard and Luvenia Pierce.
He is survived by: his mother Hazel Black Pierce (Black) of Indianola, MS; his children, Jason Fowler (Kristen) of Hendersonville, NC, Kevin Askews of Durant, MS, Donny Pierce (Amy) of Horn Lake, MS, Waylon Walter of Batesville, MS, Benny Horne of Cleveland, MS and Megan Flemings (Joseph) of Florence, MS; his nieces and nephews, Tiffany Lott and Chase Mitchell (Marilyn Lyles); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Lacey Lyles, Jenni Lyles and Bryan Lyles. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren.
