Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved David Covington (Florence, Mississippi), born in Jackson, Mississippi, who passed away at the age of 76, on October 4, 2021. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Covington Jr. and Ruth Covington Boleware; his brother Johnny Owen Covington; and his wife Janice Covington. He is survived by: his daughter Kathy Cooper (Lance); his grandchildren, Hunter Miller (Brooks Cooper) and Haley Cooper; his great grandchildren, Maddy Grace Miller and Bentley Avery Miller; his stepdaughters, Pam Upton (Scotty), Stephanie Hayles (Jerry) and Misty Hamil (Jamie); his siblings, Willie H. Covington (Inez) of Madison and Charlotte Cole of Madison; and his sister-in-law Cheryl Covington of Terry. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN in his name.
