It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Thigpen of Florence, Mississippi, born in Jackson, Mississippi, who passed away on January 16, 2021, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Edward and Doris Ball Thigpen; and his sister Debbie Driscoll (Peggy Ford). He is survived by: his wife Sue Thigpen; his stepdaughter Rhonda Smith; his stepgranddaughter Linda Smith of Middletown, OH; his siblings, Judy Stevens (Richard) of Florence and Ken Thigpen (Chris) of Madison; his brother-in-law John Driscoll of Glen Allen, VA; and his nieces and nephews, Kelley Seitz, David Seitz, Meagan Berry, Lauren Eklund and Lyndsey Dill.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to the Briar Hill Baptist Church Building Fund.
