With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carrie Buttner (Florence, Mississippi), who passed away on February 23, 2025 at the age of 48. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Mary Marlene Buttner; her parents, Dwain Chatham and Mary Fagan Chatham; her grandparents, E. J., Minnie Chatham, Robbie and Katherine Fagan; and her cousin Christy Wilson.
She is survived by: her husband Jonathon Buttner; her daughter Carolyn Buttner; her father-in-law Roger Buttner; her brother Emmett Joseph; her sister-in-law Angela Chatham; her sister Pamela; her brother-in-law Shawn Matthews; her uncle Bobby Fagan; her cousins, Ryan Fagan and Dana Lee Jarvis; her nieces, Cassie, Presley Chatham and Ryleigh Matthews; and her nephew Shawn Goodsell.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Dry Creek Baptist Church (179 Garrett Rd, Florence, MS 39073).
