It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Wayne Dear (Florence, Mississippi), who passed away on February 28, 2019, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sue Clanton Dear of Florence; his children, Jimbo Dear (Nikki) of Florence, Todd Dear (Carley) of Clinton and Carla McGuire (Henry) of Florence; and his brother Ellis Dear, Sr. (Lynn) of Florence. He was also cherished by 8 grandchildren; and many more extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to First Baptist Church of Florence or Blair E. Batson Hospital for Children in Jackson.
