He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Payne; his daughter Nita Payne (Chuck); his stepchildren, Nancy Smith (Randy), Phillip Summerlin (Rhonda) and Eric Summerlin (Brandy); and his sister Sandra Sweeney (Junior). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
