She was predeceased by: her husband W. C. Mowdy; her son Randy Mowdy; her parents, Claudie Dorman and Donia Dorman; her sister Mary Katherine McLeod; and her grandson Adam Mowdy.
She is survived by: her son Jerry Mowdy (Ruth); her brother Claudie Levon Dorman; her grandchildren, Alex Mowdy and Melissa Jones (Kevin); and her great grandchildren, Hannah, Noah, Sarah and Caleb Jones. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
