He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Albert McNamara Sr. and Ada Mae Hawkins McNamara. He is survived by: his wife Candace; his children, John R. McNamara (Sherie), Felicia Crigler (Brian) and Deborah Shoemaker (Doug); his sister Shirley Fox of Denver, CO; his nephew Michael Fox; and his grandchildren, Jonathan McNamara, Logan McNamara, Austin Shoemaker, Jessica Shoemaker, Alysa Crigler, Jon Chase Shoemaker and April Dunlap.
Because of Leo's time spent in the United States Air Force in lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
