She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Parkman, Sr. and Ann Moore Parkman; and her son Charles Brent Tanksley. She is survived by: her son Louis Martin Tanksley, Jr. (Katrina K.) of Madison; her grandsons, Seth Tanksley and Eli C. Tanksley; and her siblings, Charles Parkman, Jr. of Flora, Kay P. Haddad of Flora and Kathy P. Henderson of Flowood.
