He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Lee and Francis McLaughlin Stepp; his wife Flora Stepp; his siblings, Opal Graves and Homer Franklin Stepp; and his nephew Don Stepp.
He is survived by: his children, Martha Owen of Blue Mountain, MS and Jeff Stepp of Ecru, MS; his daughters-in-law, Marsha Stepp of Tupelo and Jane Stepp of Myrtle, MS; his sister Doris Sweet of Pinedale, MS; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Rodgers (Martin), Elizabeth Stepp LeFors, Chris Stepp, Scott Pannell, Josh Pannell, Chase Pannell, Jessica Riales and Julie Stepp. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
