She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeffie Brown and Edna Jay Brown; her husband Edward "Earl" Harper; her son-in-law Johnny Yates; her sister Peggy Ayers; her brother-in-law Jack Blue; and her siblings, Shirley Hill and Brownie Brown.
She is survived by: her daughters, Dana Yates of Waveland and Jodi Yates (Dino) of Pearl; and her siblings, Jimmy Brown (Ruth), Pattie Swofford (Gary) and Polly Blue. She is also survived by five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
