He is survived by: his wife Cindy Shields of Fernwood, MS; his children, Sheri Shields of Bay City, Leann Griffiths of Pigeon Forge, TN, Kirt Francis Shields (Melissa) of Saginaw and Angela Harvey (Jonathan McCaa) of McComb, MS; and his brother Larry "Oz" Shield (Connie) of Shields. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
