It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy Minton of Fernwood, Mississippi, born in McComb, Mississippi, who passed away on March 7, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John T. Minton and Edith McKenzie Minton. He is survived by: his son Michael L. Minton; his daughter-in-law Jan Minton; his grandchildren, Zane Michael and Kylee Gail Minton of Fernwood, MS.; his siblings, Bernice Boone of Jackson, MS, Sandra Cardiff of Katy, TX. and Earl Minton of McComb, MS.; and his cousins, Rhonda McKenzie Pitts, Smitty McKenzie and Darrell McKenzie. He is also survived by Numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
