She was predeceased by: her parents, Verine Sanders Wyatt and Shelvy Davis; her husband Robert E. Reed, Sr.; her siblings, Herman Wyatt, Shelvy Davis and Dorothy Wyatt Robinson; her children, Denean Cruel and Steven Cruel; and her sister Martha Wyatt Rossignol (Joseph).
She is survived by: her children, Marv Cruel, Marvin Cruel, Richard Cruel (Martha), Terrance Cruel, Ronnie Cruel, Stanford Cruel (Agnes), Thelma Cruel Barnes (Jimmy), Velma Cruel Oliver and Patricia Cruel McNamee; and her sister Louetta Wyatt. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and extended family.
