He was predeceased by: his parents, Lula King White and Samuel King, Sr.; and his siblings, Glenda King, Samuel King, Jr. and Leroy Wells.
He is survived by: his wife Estelle Reed King; and his siblings, Lucille Gaines (Leroy), Linda Mack (Lawrence, Sr.), Brenda Lee, Lionel King (Bonita), Eddie King (Shirley), Jerry King (Brenda), Willie King (Sharon), Kent King (Deborah), Mark King and Kelvin King (LaTosha). He is also survived by children, grandchildren, and a host of other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM and on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Hollywood Baptist Church (17 Hollywood Road, Fayette, MS 39069). A burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at the Mt. Pleasant Umc Cemetery (2433 Gravel Hill Rd, Fayette, MS 39069).
