He was predeceased by: his parents, Gillis Carter and Louise Taylor Carter; and his siblings, Wallace Carter and Sandra Alberson. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Sue Alsup Carter of Ripley, MS; his children, Kenneth Lee Carter of Ripley, MS and Crystal Dawn Boardman of Ripley, MS; and his grandchildren, Patience Taylor Saya Boardman and Eric Lee Carter.
