She was loved and cherished by many people including: her daughter Kathy Strevel; her son-in-law Jimmy McAlister; her daughter Sharon McAlister; her son-in-law Mike Strevel; her siblings, Alvis Hopper, Buford Hopper, Elmo Hopper and Martha Cunningham; and her parents, William Joseph and Almedia Hopper of Falkner. She was also cherished by nine grandchildren, and twenty great grandchildren.
