He was predeceased by: his daughter Marilyn Jo Horton; and his sisters, Dorthy Edwards, Nellie Horton and Jean Harrell. He is survived by: his wife Alice Hill Horton; his children, Jane Childs (Danny), Beth Lockhart (Richie), David Horton (Rhonda), Doug Horton (Vickie) and Jimmy Horton (Dana); and his siblings, Natalie Riley and Bobby Guyton Horton.
