In loving memory of William C. Carpenter Sr. of Eupora, Mississippi, who departed this world on March 27, 2025 at the age of 75. William leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Carpenter of Eupora and Linnie Jane Rodgers Carpenter; his former wife Shirley Jeannette Mann Carpenter; and his son William C Carpenter, Jr. of Maben, MS.. He is survived by: his daughter Tabatha Jeanette Carpenter Hessenius (Bill) of Texas; his wife Charlie Mae Pinnix Carpenter; his stepchildren, Renee Morgan (Patrick) and Wayne Yeatman of Mathiston, MS.; his grandsons, Trevor Carpenter, Kirklan McMinn and Coy McMinn; his stepgrandchildren, Dakota Morgan, Samantha Hatcher (Hunter) and Bo Yeatman (Laken); his great grandchildren, Brody Yeatman, Zoe Yeatman, Sawyer Yeatman and Mccoy Yeatman; and his sisters, Linda Bennet, Joan Byars and Betty Perkins. He is also survived by loving cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Welch Funeral Home (201 W Lampkin St, Starkville, MS 39759). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
