It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Homer Cooksey (Eupora, Mississippi), who passed away on March 2, 2018, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Homer Cooksey to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Martha Jane Cooksey, Charles Cooksey and Woodrow Cooksey. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Coleman Cooksey; his sons, Gene Cooksey (Nan) of Ingomar, Harold Cooksey (Debbie) of Cherry Creek and Jackie Cooksey (Annette) of Corinth; his stepdaughters, Cindy Heavener (Michael) of Blue Mountain and Tracy Yates (Gary) of New Albany; and his siblings, Bertine Fowler of Eupora, Sybil Stone (Mike) of Fulton, Ilene White (Charles) of Eupora, Carolyn Sisk of Mathiston, Robert Cooksey (Phyliss) and Jerry Cooksey (Rhonda). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo.
