It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Edward Hardin of Eupora, Mississippi, born in Grenada, Mississippi, who passed away on October 12, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Terry Philley; his parents, Clifton Carl Hardin and Blanche Marie Hardin (Johnson); and his siblings, Russell Hardin, Donnie Hardin and Louise Newton (Jimmy).
He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Hardin of Eupora and Brent Hardin of Houston, Texas; his grandchildren, Colt Tabor (Kayla) of Grenada and Angel Tabor of Winona; his great grandchildren, Ozzy Tabor and Landon Weaver of Grenada; and his sisters, Betty Jean Parker (Ray) of Salinas, Frances Ingram (Rufus) of Guntown and Shirley Newman (John) of Canton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations in George's memory be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
