She was predeceased by: her mother Nancy Aberitt Horne; and her father-in-law J. L. Walters. She is survived by: her husband Scott Walters; her son Edward Scott Walters II; her father Larry Horne; her siblings, Randy L. Horne (Susan) and Angel Lovett; her mother-in-law Brenda Crumbley; and her sister-in-law Terri Parker (David). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
