He was predeceased by: his parents, Ned Rone and Alice Riley Rone (Shirley Rone); his son-in-law Mark Morgan; and his brothers, Woodrow, Josh, Lloyd, Riley, Audley and Ned Rone.

He is survived by: his daughters, Kay O'Brian (Wayne), Carol Ann Morgan and Paula Woods (Mark); and his grandchildren, Mandi Burnette (Russ), Justin O'Brian (Ashley), Leslie Edwards (Chris), Adam Morgan, Matthew Morgan (Macie), Megan Rodriquez (Hector) and Whitney Lee (Mitch). He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.
