He is survived by: his wife Claire Jean Cooper Burchfield; his children, Robert Mark Burchfield (Kathryn) of Jonesboro, AR, Susan B. Howington (Mark) of McDonough, GA, Pamela B. Belton (John) of Madison, MS and Thomas David Burchfield; his grandchildren, Matt Burchfield, Brittany Burchfield and Paul Howington; and his great grandchild Mattie Burchfield.
