He is survived by: his siblings, William "Tony" Sledge of Nettleton and Linda Jackson (Fred) of Easley, SC; and his nieces and nephews, Kathy Swartwood, Cyndi Ray, Madeline Murphree, Lee Frederick, Dwight Fortenberry and Michael Fortenberry.
