He was predeceased by: his parents, James Irvin Mangrum and Carrie Gryner Mangrum; and his sisters, Mildred Leo Curtis and Johnnie Carolyn Dallas. He is survived by: his significant other Mildred "Millie" Mangrum of Ethel, Mississippi; and his children, James Kenneth Mangrum, Jr. of Southaven, Jeffrey Mangrum (Pamela Kay) of Philadelphia, Mississippi and Angela Mangrum Foster of Asheville. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
