It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ibbie Rone Smith of Ethel, Mississippi, who passed away on April 20, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Hansford Smith; her parents, John Thomas Rone and Mary Theora Oliver Rone; and her daughter Carol Montgomery. She is survived by: her son Mark M. Smith (Brenda Jarriel) of Ethel; and her siblings, George Rone of Senatobia, Nina Hart of Pearl, Frances Lester of Kosciusko and Minnie Alice Rone of Ethel. She is also survived by four grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews and nieces.
