He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Ellison and Vivian Ellison (Cole); and his siblings, Ira Ellison, Steve Ellison, Charles Ellison, Mae Warren and Catherine Pape.
He is survived by: his wife Lyndol Bell Ellison; his children, Scott Ellison (Memphis) and Penny Zito (Tony) of Picayune; his sisters-in-law, Polly Allen of Ethel and Gerry Cain (Skip) of Ridgeland; his granddaughters, Brandy Grant (Robert) of Merigold, Brianna Mabry of Senatobia and Bailey Battistelli of Ridgeland; his great grandchildren, Braxton Grant, Gavin Grant of Merigold, Annabelle Mabry of Senatobia, Braylee Smith and Blaise Smith of Ridgeland; and his brothers-in-law, Robert "Bobby" Warren, Tommy Pape and Sam Allen. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
