Sarah Marguerite Dufrene Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Marguerite Dufrene (Escatawpa, Mississippi), who passed away on April 24, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Leonard and Edith Pearl Roberts; and her siblings, Garner Roberts, Sr., Paul Roberts, Austin Roberts, J. W. Roberts, Henry Roberts, Jr., Teresa Baker, Della Nelson and Pearl McCurdy.
She is survived by: her significant other Murphy L. Dufrene; and her children, Melvin Dufrene (Pearl), Cheryl Barrilleaux, Lorraine Goff (Horace), Linda Turner (Mike), Jason Dufrene and Shelly Ceravola (Larry). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Due to the concerns surrounding COVID-19, the family will have a private graveside service Tuesday at Serene Memorial Gardens in Moss Point, MS, with Horace Goff, Mike Turner, Larry Ceravola, Shane Turner, Brandon Gibson, and Wesley Nelson serving as pallbearers.
