With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lois Griffin of Escatawpa, Mississippi, born in Avon Park, Florida, who passed away on July 19, 2023 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father George Wesley; her husband James Griffin; her sons, Charles and Bobby Griffin; her sons-in-law, Melvin Bosarge and Aaron Lapeyrouse; and her siblings, Lottie, Rena, Nettie, Mildred and George Wesley "Junior".
She is survived by: her mother Viola Blackwell; her daughters, Faye Bosarge and Sue Lapeyrouse; and her grandchildren, Lisa Dodson (Max), Michael Lapeyrouse (Joni), Tina Avery (Dave), Michelle Rockwell, Butch Griffin (Rachelle), Cissy Terrell, Charles Allen Griffin (Toni), Hope Williams (James) and Charles Griffin Jr.. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
