She was predeceased by: her husband William Byrd Copeland; her parents, Rhanel Quintiss Johnson and Ramie Faye Johnson; and her siblings, Qunitiss "Sonny" Johnson, Jimmy Johnson, Billy Wayne Johnson, Bobby Johnson, Betty Ann Johnson Killingsworth and Linda Sue Johnson.

She is survived by: her children, Ginger Faye Copeland and David Nicolas Copeland (Maria); her siblings, Dortha Johnson Saley (Ken) and Wilbur Dale Johnson (Barbara); and her grandchildren, Dolan Jeremy Gerber, Aidan William Gerber, David Nicholas Copeland, II, Suzette Nicole Copeland, Justin Copeland, Alexander William Copeland and Javier Jaspe. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family would like to thank all of their family and friends who have prayed and given support during her battle with COVID-19.
