She was predeceased by: her parents, Reuben Coleman and Sarah Cribbs Coleman; her former husband Willis Earl Edwards, Sr.; her husband James Truman Tate; her sister Judy Capers; and her granddaughter Regina L. Turner.
She is survived by: her children, Willis Edwards, Chris Edwards and Debbie Turner (Tom); her grandchildren, Nicole Stringer (Keith Johnson), Haley Rollin and Brad Turner (Lynn); her great grandchildren, Gavin Stringer (Marissa Felts), Brooklee Stringer, Lily Turner and Sadie Grace Stuckey; and her sisters, Denice Robinson and Dolly Turner. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
