He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Upton and Mable Upton; and his granddaughter Abbygale Upton. He is survived by: his wife Diane Upton; his sons, James "David" Upton (Alisha), Thomas Gabriel Upton (Mandy) and John Mark Upton (Karen); and his grandchildren, Ethan James Upton, Scout Douglas Upton, Timothy Dowe Upton, Walter Elijah Upton and Scarlett Isabella Upton.
