He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard Bruce and Nolia Sims Bruce; his siblings, Bobby Bruce and Peggy Ellis; his great-niece Katelyn Winstead; and his great-nephew Justin Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Angela Douglas Wiggins (Jimmy) and Scott Bruce; his grandchildren, Eric Stokes, Kevin Buchan, Nicholas Buchan (Itzeel), Savannah Douglas, Haven Bruce and Korbyn Bruce; his sister Rachael Burden (Leslie); his nieces, Kimberly Winstead (Paul), Judy Fuller and Deborah Thweatt; and his great-nephews, Steven Triplett, D. J. Fuller, Elijah Fuller and Cagnie Johnson.
