She was predeceased by: her parents, Mitchell Tunstall Reed, Sr. and Anita Bradley Reed (Bradley); her parents-in-law, Carson Avera and Mattie Colen Avera; and her brother Mitchell "Mike" Tunstall Reed, Jr..
She is survived by: her husband Curtis C. Avera; her daughters, Lisa Manasco (Billy Rascoe), Anitra Watson (Blake), Tina McCoy (Ronnie), Kim Johns (Richard White) and Brandi Lough (Brent); her grandchildren, Jonathan Whitaker, Haleigh Flowers (Russ), Zackary Hutchinson, Shelby Hutchinson, Hannah McCoy, Taylor Manasco, Marly Johns, Ava Maddox, Ryan McCoy (Lily) and Wilson Maddox; and her great grandchildren, Autumn Flowers, Brandtley Flowers, Kole Flowers and Kamden Ivy. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
