He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Gunn and Eileen Gunn; his brother Michael Wayne Gunn; and his great-niece Little Lynn Mason. He is survived by: his wife Jean; his daughter Carrie Lynn (Samuel Kelly Nance II); his granddaughter Carrie Cadance; and his siblings, Deborah (Richard) and Scotty.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Fellowship Baptist Church (400 River Rd, Enterprise, MS 39330).
Martin's final act of kindness was his selfless decision to donate his body, contributing to medical research and education.
